When Life Gives
You Lemons
EST: 2022
In 2022, I had a hemorrhagic stroke. I was in intensive care in two different hospitals and spent four months in rehab. Whilst there, the most challenging part was not having anyone to talk to who understood what I was going through. I've worked incredibly hard and done extensive rehab, but there are still things I struggle with now.
Even with support from both my family and my therapists, I was still overwhelmed by it all. I created this site to help give advice and bits of information I wish I'd had. Most of the information is targeted at stroke survivors, but a lot of it can help you if you've become suddenly disabled for any reason.
Everyone's journey will be different. This is the "new me".

I'll keep my blog updated to share more of my experiences as my journey continues.
